Mekele residents block roads to resist looting by Eritrean troops and Amhara militas

BREAKING Tense and serious situation is developing in #Mekele, the city of half million people. The people of Mekelle are out in the streets blocking all roads and confronting the armed Eritrean troops & Amhara militias who brought hundreds of trucks and started to loot public and private properties in Mekele.

Abiy Ahmed administration and the Ethiopian National Defence forces are allowing Eritrean troops & Amhara militias to loot people’s properties with impunity.
